Julian Marquez (9-2) vs Jordan Wright (12-1)

Julian Marquez has gotten finishes in all nine of his wins. Jordan Wright has also scored finishes in all 12 of his wins. That sounds like a recipe for some serious Octagon violence and a highlight-reel moment waiting to happen. If Marquez vs Wright isn’t in the running for performances bonuses at the end of the night, you may want to get your affairs in order because the apocalypse may be upon us.

Prediction: Marquez by submission, round 3

Andrei Arlovski (31-20) vs Carlos Felipe (11-1)

Brazilian big man Carlos Felipe is a fun fighter to watch. Despite his curvaceous figure, he is a legitimate volume striker in a division where that’s a rarity. In addition, “Boi” is not opposed to trashing talking foes during the fight. He might be the perfect man to pull some late-career fire out of the well-aged Andrei “Pitbull” Arlovski.

Prediction: Carlos Felipe by split-decision

Manon Fiorot (7-1) vs Mayra Bueno Silva (7-1)

Manon Fiorot has been a bulldozer of late. Scoring technical knockouts in her last five fights, two of those inside the Octagon. In Mayra Bueno Silva she gets a fighter who could force “The Beast” out of her comfort zone and onto the mat. This could be a key development fight for Fiorot as she looks to establish herself as a future challenger to flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko.

Prediction: Fiorot by TKO, round 2
