This is what REAL Muay Thai looks like in MMA

Much like wrestling and BJJ are essential pieces of the MMA puzzle, Muay Thai most certainly is as well. If you do not know what to do in the clinch or how to defend against a low kick, you are going to be in some serious trouble.

There are many elite-level MMA fighters out there with a Muay Thai focused style, such as all-time great, Anderson Silva, and while Silva's skills are definitely super high level, he is still nowhere close to the top level guys in actual Muay Thai like the guy we see here in this video.

Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke is a two-division Lumpinee champion with an incredible Muay Thai record of 282-65-3. Since 2014, though, he has made the switch to competing in professional MMA which makes him the most decorated Muay Thai fighter to ever compete in the sport.

Legendary Muay Thai champion now competing in MMA

We see in the video below that Dejdamrong's striking skills are on a completely different level compared to his MMA opponents, and his technique is just perfect.

All of his MMA fights have been in the Singapore-based MMA promotion ONE Championship (formerly known as ONE FC), where he currently holds an impressive record of 8-3.

What is also interesting about Dejdamrong is that he has some skills on the ground as well, with 2 of his victories coming by way of submission.

Check out the video below to see his 'top of the food chain' striking skills in action.
