Street bully taunts beginner MMA student and gets DESTROYED
Isaiah Villa, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner from California, was filmed being forced to defend himself against a man who would not go away and demanded to fight.
Isaiah said: “I really didn’t want to fight because I know what I am capable of and didn’t know what he was capable of doing.“
“Honestly, I was pretty scared. This guy was talking about putting me in the hospital and that really made me uneasy. I was also afraid people would jump in and try to hit me because of how many people he had with him, which was another reason I didn’t want to fight.
“I really wanted to sink the hooks in and go old-school Gracie on the guy, but my jeans were really preventing my legs from rising high enough.“
We’d say Isaiah did pretty well. He managed the distance properly. He closed the distance with strikes. One of the strikes knocked his opponent to the ground.
When on top, he delivered strikes, causing the other guy to turn his back. Isaiah then tries to get a rear naked choke but wasn’t able to secure the position. After the failed RNC attempt, he transitioned to a ‘Bulldog choke’ and finished the fight.
After the fight, the loser was bleeding and seemed upset doe. He left pretty quickly. Check out the action in the video below.
Isaiah said, “I want people to see that you need to defend yourself and you can’t avoid all situations. Not to brag on an easy opponent. If he were pressuring someone else I’m sure they would have curled up into a ball.“
BJJ promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using proper technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, and then applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the opponent.
