Multiple people attack bank security guard in Turkey – drops them all like bowling pins
This legendary video took place in Yozgat, Turkey. An Azerbaijani Turk bank security guard named Nuh Demircan got into it with several people over driving. Demircan then sends fools to the ground, repeatedly as necessary, like something out of The Matrix, or perhaps a bowling alley. The local press dubbed him The Turkish Rambo.
In later media interviews, Demircan identified himself as a boxer. But it doesn’t take a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing – that’s boxing.
The guy in white had multiple opportunities to realize that this was not a good day to gang up on someone, and ended up in the hospital. There have been countless cases of people in street altercations falling and hitting their head on the unforgiving pavement, and dying. This is one more reason to avoid street fights, at all costs. Avoid places with angry drunks, and run if you can. That is real self-defense.
Around 98 AD, the Roman historian Tacitus wrote a book called Agricola which included the line “Inquissima haec bellorum condicio est: prospera omnes sibi indicant, aduersa uni imputantur.” This translates to “This is an unfair thing about war: victory is claimed by all, failure to one alone.”
That sentiment has survived across millennia.
After the failed CIA Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba, President John F. Kennedy said “victory has 100 fathers and defeat is an orphan.” It is still true.
More than one nationality has claimed the victor in this melee as their own. However, if the initial news report is correct – and there is no credible evidence that it is not – then the victor is not an Armenian boxer named Samvel Demirchyan. While the name ending does sound Armenian (jian/yan/jan), it is not.
There is no shortage of highly-skilled Armenian fighters on this planet, and no shortage of highly skilled Turkish fighters. That could be a point of mutual respect and regard, but given their history specifically, and human nature in general, it isn’t much working out that way.
For the record, in Turkish, ‘demir’ means iron, and ‘chan’ means ‘soul’ so Demircan means “Iron Soul.” ‘Nuh’ is Noah in Turkish. So that man’s name in English is Noah Ironsoul. That is the most appropriate name since Manufacturing IT Leader at Viagra manufacturer Pfizer’s plant in Cork, Ireland – Willie Power.
