Undertones of humility, achievement, and humor fill the room. Three mammoths of men: Brock Lesnar, Cole Konrad, and Marty Morgan stand in front of the camera donning their new Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue belts. Behind the camera is their Jiu Jitsu coachRodrigo ‘Comprido’ Medeiros

After 8 years of practice and an avalanche of achievements, these NCAA champs, former UFC champ, and former Bellator champ are blue belts. “I think we should of got it about 6 years ago” quips Marty as the laughter hits.

“Thanks Comprido for 8 long years of training…” Says Lesnar, “and finally reaching my goal of becoming a blue belt, thank you very much”.

Much like his MMA career, Cole Konrad’s response was short and to the point “thanks Comprido”. It’s nice seeing Konrad is still training, and even nicer seeing that he is active in Lesnar’s camp. Could Brock’s return spell a potential return for Konrad? Likely not, but we can hope. Stay tuned!

Say what you will about Brock Lesnar, but he has had the humility to train with a Gi and white belt on for 8 years.

Say what you will about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but these men recognize its importance and effectiveness.

Will Brock Lesnar use his Jiu Jitsu skills at UFC 200? A ground attack led by a double leg is imminent, but will he go for the sub, or unleash his vicious ground and pound?

Is Mark Hunt impressed by this news? Probably not, as he will be looking to impose his vicious standing assault on Lesnar come 200.

Either way, I want to see it! Comment if you think Jiu-Jitsu will play a factor in this fight.
