Former(ish) UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor appeared today at the UFC 223 media day, presumably in support of fellow SBGi fighter Artem Lobov.
Mayhem ensued, as McGregor and members of his team can be seen on video vandalizing a bus carrying fighters.
The group was reportedly looking for Khabib Nurmagomedov, who had gotten into a verbal altercation with Lobov earlier in the week.
Items were thrown at the bus, and lightweight Michael Chiesa was cut, and went to the hospital.
Conor went bananas and put a beating on the van that we were in looking for Khabib, said Chiesa’s coach Rick Little to MMAjunkie. A million security guards had to restrain him. Mike’s cut up now. He’s got marks on him, for sure. I don’t think too serious. Everything happened so fast, it was just like we got jumped.
Video was taken of the attack and Chiesa can be heard asking if he is cut badly.

Lobov was reportedly part of the group attacking the bus, and was pulled from his fight vs. Anthony Pettis.
UFC president Dana White says there is an arrest warrant out for McGregor.
Police are looking for [McGregor] right now,” said White. “His plane cannot take off. He cannot leave the State of New York with this warrant. And I’m assuming, eventually, if they don’t catch him he’ll turn himself in.
I can imagine he’s going to be sued beyond belief. And it’s a real bad career move for him.

Technically, no charges have been filed yet, and no warrant has been issued as of the time of this writing, but the NYPD does wish to speak with the fighter.
