Long Beach, California rapper and host of the Doggy Fizzle Televizzle series Snoop Dogg (real name Snoop Lion) is a big mixed martial arts fan. Frequently seen Octagonside at UFC PPV events, Snoop even entered the MMA apparel market as a partner in and briefly president of Serious Pimp. And he won a $20,000 bet with UFC president Dana White prior to UFC 125 when White bet that his hometown Celtics would beat the Lakers in the 2010 NBA Finals.

Snoop doesn’t follow the sport to the point he knew who Khabib Nurmagomedov was, but now, he knows. Dogg posted a clip on his Instagram narrating Saturday’s fight between Nurmagomedov and Michael Johnson.

“I got my money on this nigga Habib,” said Dogg. “I ain’t never heard of him, but the way I’m seeing him f*** this nigga up, I got Khabib Nurmagopdavov against anybody in lightweight, whoever lightweight.

“Khabib playing games – putting his nuts in his face and all kinds of s***. He could hit him with the elbow backwards if he wanted to Shag, you know that right?

“He’s figuring to do something to choke this nigga out and get him to submit … told he wanted to submit Shag.

“Wow, nigga 24-0. He a bad motherf***er. That’s my new nigga now.”

In all seriousness, bringing in Snoop Dogg to do color commentary for a UFC PPV would be really, really, really, really, really good for the sport.
