Tito Ortiz @titoortiz

•@HulkHogan is a real America & far from a racist.Trying 2smear his name is embarrassing.We stand behind U #HulkHogan

•What ever happened to ‘Sticks & stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me?’ Ppl need to relax. #HulkHogan is a good man.”

The UFC Hall of Famer and current Bellator contender worked briefly for TNA in 2013, at the same time Hogan was also there. And like many of his generation, Ortiz grew up idolizing The Hulkster and his regimen of training, prayer, and vitamins.

However, Hogan has been unceremoniously fired by the WWE, after a tape emerged Friday of Hogan discussing his daughter’s relationship with an African American. The pillow talk was part of a sex tape of Hogan and Heather Clem, the former wife of Hogan’s former friend “Bubba the Love Sponge.”

“She is making some real bad decisions now,” said Hogan. “My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me. I spent $2-3 million on her music career, I’ve done everything like a jackass for her. The one option Brooke had, Brooke’s career besides me, is sell beach records.”

Hogan then referenced an unnamed African American music mogul.

“I don’t know if Brooke was f—ing the black guy’s son,” he said. “I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f—ing n—ers. But then when it comes to nice people and s—, and whatever. I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f— some n—er, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n—er worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. Fucking n—er.”

The Enquirer added there is more to come.

Tito’s statement is of course contradicted by Hogan himself.

Tito Ortiz: “Hulk Hogan is a real America & far from a racist”

Hulk Hogan: “I am a racist, to a point, f—ing n—ers.”

Maybe Tito knows something about Hogan that he doesn’t know about himself.

The WWE has for a generation at least played to despicable racial stereotypes. Hakim the African Dream was a white man who was captured by African Cannibals, cooked in a pot, and emerged as a caricature of a pimp. Cryme Tyme was a pair of African American men who did prison workouts and stole everything they could. But the WWE has found religion.

The WWE is “committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide,’ read a statement. That is faker than the fight effectiveness of Hulk Hogan’s Leg Drop.
