UFC 261 medical suspensions: Four fighters facing six-month suspensions

The medical suspensions for all fighters who competed at last month’s UFC 261 PPV event have arrived. In the main event of UFC 261, welterweight champion Kamaru Usman defeated Jorge Masvidal by second-round KO, giving him his fourth consecutive title defense. The medical suspensions are courtesy of the Florida Athletic Commission and were first posted by MMA Junkie.

  • Usman not facing suspension

  • Zhang suspended 60 days
  • Namajunas not facing suspension

Valentina Shevchenko defeated Jessica Andrade by TKO (Round 2, 3:19)

  • Andrade suspended 30 days
  • Shevchenko not facing suspension

Uriah Hall defeated Chris Weidman by TKO (Round 1, 0:17)

  • Weidman suspended 180 days and requires clearance by orthopedic doctor
  • Hall not facing suspension

Anthony Smith defeated Jimmy Crute by TKO (Round 1, 5:00)

  • Crute suspended 60 days and requires clearance by orthopedic doctor
  • Smith not facing suspension

Dwight Grant defeated Stefan Sekulic by split decision

  • Grant suspended 180 days
  • Sekulic not facing suspension

Brendan Allen defeated Karl Roberson by Submission (Heel-hook)

  • Roberson suspended indefinitely, negative MRI required or 180 day suspension
  • Allen suspended 30 days
