UFC rankings: Movsar Evloev cracks top 10 with win over Dan Ige

Undefeated featherweight moves up three slots in latest official rankings following UFC Fight Night 207 result.

Undefeated prospect Movsar Evloev has made no secret about his intentions of challenging for the UFC featherweight title as quickly as possible, and he took a solid step in that direction with his latest win.

Facing fellow contender Dan Ige (15-6 MMA, 7-5 UFC) in the headlining bout of this past weekend's UFC Fight Night 207 event, Evloev (16-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) was dominant over the course of three rounds, showing capable striking and impressive grappling en route to a shutout win on the judges' cards.

With the result, Evloev moves up three positions and now sits at No. 10 in the latest official featherweight rankings. Meanwhile, Ige slides down just one spot and now sits at No. 11.

In other notable action from this past week's event, Alexander Volkov (35-10 MMA, 9-4 UFC) scored a first-round TKO win over fellow heavyweight contender Jairzinho Rozenstruik (12-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC). However the result had no impact in the rankings, with "Drago" remaining at No. 7 and "Bigi Boy" just behind him at No. 8.
