At just 24 years old, Chinese bantamweight Song Yadong is already entering some very elite territory.

This past weekend, Yadong (19-6-1 MMA, 8-1-1 UFC) picked up an impressive first-round knockout of Brazilian veteran Marlon Moraes (23-10-1 MMA, 5-6 UFC) in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 203, and he was rewarded with a big move up in the promotion’s official rankings, sliding up five spots to find himself tied with Pedro Munhoz to sit in the No. 9 position.

After the win, Yadong called for a fight with former UFC champ Dominick Cruz, who currently sits at No. 7.

Meanwhile, with the loss, Moraes drops four spots and now sits at No. 13 in the division.
