Yosdenis Cedeno vs. Islam Mamedov added to Eagle FC 47 on May 20

Lightweight matchup latest addition to card, which streams live on the FLXcast App from Miami.

A pair of lightweights with big-show experience have been paired together at "Eagle FC 47: Dos Santos vs. De Castro."

Promotion officials today confirmed to MMA Underground that Yosdenis Cedeno and Islam Mamedov have agreed to meet at the May 20 event that streams live on the FLXcast app from FLXcast Arena in Miami.

Cedeno (11-7-1) makes his promotional debut on the strength of back-to-back wins in all-striking contests under the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship banner. "Pink Panther" previously fought four times in the UFC earlier in his career but has more recently been a fixture on the Florida scene, including a pair of fights for Titan FC.

Meanwhile, Dagestan's Mamedov (20-2-1) looks to rebound from a split-decision loss to former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson under the Bellator banner in January. The setback snapped an incredible unbeaten run of 21 consecutive fights for Mamedov that included stops in Bellator, PFL and World Series of Fighting.

According to Bellator officials, Mamedov remains under contract with the promotion but was granted permission to compete at Eagle FC 47.

Additionally, Eagle FC officials confirmed that Daniel Allen was forced to withdraw from a planned lightweight  matchup with Dylan Mantello (4-2), who will now take on replacement opponent Dennis Hughes Jr. (7-4).

With the additions to the card, the Eagle FC 47 lineup now includes:

  • Junior Dos Santos vs. Yorgan De Castro
  • Hector Lombard vs. Thiago Silva
  • Alexandre Almeida vs. Roosevelt Roberts
  • Jason Knight vs. Josenaldo Silva
  • Yosdenis Cedeno vs. Islam Mamedov
  • Maki Pitolo vs. Doug Usher
  • Dennis Hughes Jr. vs. Dylan Mantello
