A wise man once said there are no real winners in a street fight, only losers, and that’s literally the case in this instance.

It’s not clear why the young man in blue shorts and his rival in the red top got into a physical altercation, but one thing we do know for sure is that both will soon regret that decision.

The footage begins with the fight already underway, and it quickly becomes apparent that neither of them is going to be pursuing a career in boxing any time soon as they wildly swing ineffective windmill punches at each other at close range.

To his credit, blue seems to realize this, and decides to switch things up. As his opponent wings another hit-and-hope punch in his general direction, he changes levels under the incoming blow and reaches in for a takedown.

He hoists his rival into the air and everyone watching holds their breath in anticipation of the big slam that’s going to follow.

Red is indeed sent thumping to the concrete below, with blue right there with him, landing heavily on top in side control.

It was a ballsy move, but there’s one small problem – in the process of landing the takedown, blue has managed to land head first onto the ground, resulting in a particularly brutal self-KO.

Closer inspection of the footage reveals that as he was hoisted up into the air, red was able to wrap an arm around blue’s neck, which meant that his adversary was inevitably going to get his face pancaked into the ground on impact.

Both men lay immobile on the concrete afterward, but it’s red who stirs first, gingerly clutching the back of his head.

Despite having initiated the fight-ending throw, blue is clearly worse for wear though, and he continues to lie motionless as his opponent shoves him off.

Thankfully there are some signs of life from blue as the video comes to an end, but if anyone was in any doubt, this video serves as a perfect example that street fights just aren’t worth the trouble!
