There are few jobs in the world as unpredictable as a security guard. Depending on the location, security often has to deal with irate individuals who are likely to make a bad decision. Often a place will ask a security guard to have some type of martial arts experience.
While it is rare that a security guard is going to get in an actual fight against a patron of the establishment, this video shows us exactly what type of risks a security guard puts himself in. A disgruntled customer of the establishment is obviously on the quest for revenge as he marches up the street with a baseball bat as his friend films the encounter safely from behind.
Once the footage reaches the door of what would appear to be a social club, the attacker with the bat is seen standing in an intimidating manner towards the doorman security. Eventually the security guard stands to his feet and looks to take action attempting to take the bat following a quick hook. Noticeably bigger in size, the security guard lands a knockout punch on the attacker, sending him crashing to the floor, all while his buddy in tow continues to film the event.
This video is a great example of the need to act decisively in a situation of violence and danger. The security guard did a great job of immobilizing the threat.
