The scene opens up at a restaurant in China. A group of five girls are beating up another girl. They are grabbing her hair and stomping her on the ground; it is very violent.
A man watching the whole mess refuses to sit idly by and decides to take action…
The man literally comes out of nowhere, violently throws one of the attackers to the ground, and comes to the victim’s rescue.
The attackers then start attacking and punching him, but this time they have messed the wrong person.
In a wild melee, the man throws big punches, grabs the bullies by the hair and tosses them on the ground before they have enough and are unable to cause any more harm to the victim. The victim is safe, and the attackers got blasted.
The highlight of the man’s courageous act? At about 40 seconds into the video you can see one of the attackers trip and knock herself out on the man’s elbow!

More often than not, people who witness an attack do not do anything (when they are not filming it or, even worse, helping the attacker). That is what makes this Chinese man a literal modern-day hero.
The most shocking instance of footage exhibiting the bystander problem came in the form of a video that hit the Internet in 2011.
The horrific footage shows a two-year-old girl lying unconscious on the pavement after having been hit by a van. Out of the 18 people who walked by her, not a single person dared to even check on her.
A man went as far as to take a good look at the poor little girl before casually walking away. The little girl was killed by another car shortly after.
This tragedy cause mass ruckus among Chinese media and people and has made many Chinese reconsider their firm mind your own business stance.
