Have you ever found yourself at party where you have a little bit too much to drink and get into an altercation with another person who also has too much to drink?

Well for one lucky man at this party not only he did get into a drunken altercation but the person he was at words with was former UFC fighter Cody Gibson.

The footage shows a clearly intoxicated Cody and an unnamed man having words at each other with them post posturing themselves quite aggressively. Cody then proceeds to tell this man to “Google me b**ch.” which only made the situation worse as the man proceeded to connect with a right hand on Cody’s jaw but failed drop the UFC veteran. To return the favour Cody retaliated with a double leg to take the fight to the pavement before onlookers stepped in to break it up.

After the incident Cody broke his silence on Sherdog Radio expressing some regret of how he handled the situation.

“This guy was being a typical kind of bro and started saying some stuff to me. At first, I told him I did not want to fight, two or three times. He was definitely egging on the situation, and then he started to irritate me.” Cody explained while admitting he was intoxicated at the time.

“Then I told him who I was, which was probably the worst idea, because then, after that, I feel like he really wanted to fight. And then, yeah, man, one thing led to another. I don’t know, man. Definitely not something I’m proud of.” [source : sherdog.com]
