Forty-fifth United States President Donald Trump and his son, Donald Trump Jr., have agreed to provide guest commentary for Triller Fight Club during the fledgling promotion’s event on Saturday night.
Triller, a video-sharing service, confirmed the news to ESPN on Tuesday.
Both Trumps will be present at the fights at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and will be offering alternate “gamecast” commentary during the card. The event is headlined by a bout pitting boxing legend Evander Holyfield versus MMA great and UFC veteran Vitor Belfort.
Donald Trump guest commentary added to Holyfield vs Belfort Triller Fight Club event

The former president’s interest in combat sports, and his involvement in hosting and promoting fights, dates back several decades. Triller Fight Club, meanwhile, has used celebrity commentators in the past, including rapper Snoop Dogg and comedian Pete Davidson.
“I love great fighters and great fights,” Trump said in a release. “I look forward to seeing both this Saturday night and sharing my thoughts ringside. You won’t want to miss this special event.”
Triller Fight Club rose to prominence in 2020 on the back of a hugely successful pay-per-view event headlined by retired boxing greats Mike Tyson and Roy Jones, Jr. competing in an eight-round exhibition bout. They were also the promotion that promoted YouTuber turned pugilist Jake Paul’s first three prize-fighting forays.
Holyfield vs Belfort takes place on Saturday night on FITE TV PPV for US $49.99. The event kicks off at 7 pm ET.
